Ticketmaster Rant:
Hokay so I went on to buy my bamboozle three day pass, $150.55 after service fees, and I’m applying my $50 gift certificate to the order. I’m entering my billing info, when Jess and Shane come in and say we’re going to Arby’s, so I shut my computer thinking I’ll just do this later.
I get back from Arby’s to find that ticketmaster processed my request without me pressing the button that says I’m ready. And just decided to not apply the gift certificate.
Part of that was probably something I did wrong, but whatever.
Now, I would say whatever, but this is the only chance I really have to use the gift certificate, because I buy all my tickets in person cause service fees suck. I’ve had the gift certificate for a year and a half and was gonna finally use it.
So I call their 800 number, and sit on hold for 15 minutes. The result I get is that they’ll cancel my order so I can do it again and apply the gift certificate awesome!—EXCEPT now that they canceled the order, I don’t get my $150.55 back for 5-10 days. GREAT. So now I don’t really have enough money in my checking account to re-order this ticket.
So I basically spent the rest of the night trying to order the tickets again, but it won’t process my order, and now I still don’t have tickets, and when I tried to call the 800 number again, they were closed for the night.
So I have to call them back today and sit on hold for a while again, and I’ll probably just end up buying the tickets over the phone.

I’m pissed. This doesn’t need to be so difficult.
